PayEzy started with a friend’s NDIS business, and with watching how much time and money went into simply keeping the back office running.
What we saw
Onboarding new staff, building rosters, running payroll, keeping up with tax obligations and working out when to bill each participant all started on paper and spreadsheets. Moving to software helped, but it meant paying for two subscriptions: one for rostering at more than $55 a month, and another for payroll and invoicing at $75 a month.
The fees weren’t the only cost. The two systems didn’t talk to each other, so the same hours had to be exported from one and uploaded into the other by hand, every pay cycle.
